I put this video together to update you on our ongoing Kickstarter campaign, but in the midst of my rambling, I talked about other things like who’s going to be in our DJ Battle and why I really do what I do as far as producing APNF.

Lately, I’ve been focused on two major aspects of APNF: the Kickstarter campaign for the upcoming book and the DJ Battle Series to commemorate one year of puggin’ it up.
I thought I’d share my latest sketch of one of the DJ battles featuring one of my favorite DJs/producers, Todd “The Big La” Kelley as Zombie Todd. While I love creating APNF and other designs in a digital platform, I am still very connected to the pencil/pen/paper experience at the beginning. I’ve contemplated getting a digital tablet to ensure I have solid, bold line art and easier transfer into Photoshop (i.e., not having to use a scanner) – but I doubt if I go that route any time soon.
With over a month left to pledge, my prayer is that we exceed the $2500 goal necessary to print and distribute 100 copies of the book. If we do, I’ll simply print more and/or do more cool stuff for my awesome backers!
