The Arc

One of the many nuggets of wisdom I received while visiting The Webcomic List forums was the power of a story arc. Instead of dropping unrelated punchlines with every episode, a story arc enables you to build a timeline of events that goes beyond the punchline while enabling your readers to get a deeper understanding of your characters.

A Pug Named Fender is a deep dog and I felt he (and his readers) would benefit from a story arc structure. But I also had to tie it into the music he loves so much. One of his main characteristics is his love for Lalah Hathaway, so I decided to explore this in a five (5) episode series that’s going on as we speak. Throughout the course of this week, readers will get a deeper perspective on the coolest pug ever while learning more about Ms. Hathaway’s music and how social media plays a big role in the life of this webcomic.

The primary goal of the storyline is to make you smile and/or laugh while celebrating comical soul in a new and exciting way.

Cheers to you, Lalah and I pray everyone enjoys the arc :)
