We ended July on a high note (no pun intended) with a guest appearance by GRAMMY® nominated Eric Roberson. “Music Fan Second” is the most popular episode to date and I appreciate your support as we recognized this talented musician.
August is already busy and I welcome the challenge of being more productive. I decided to debut the Phonte episode (which will feature Sangin’ Tay) next week on August 12th. This month will also feature guest appearances from Jesse Boykins III, N’Dambi and GROOVMNT music editors Will Dawson & Todd Kelley.
Per the suggestion of my peers on The Webcomic List forums, I’ve been doing my homework on story arcs. Since APNF is a huge Lalah Hathaway fan, I’ve decided to introduce her in a consecutive five (5) day series from Monday through Friday. I believe this will be the best way to emphasize how much of a stan this pug is for Lalah while giving me a chance to build on the characters’ personalities. Receiving her blessing via Twitter was a great motivator to get off my butt and crank this out. My goal is to have the series ready for the last week of August.
Meanwhile, enjoy the episodes and we’ll be back on Tuesday with more comical soul.

As a big Lalah stan, I can fully respect and understand the MAGNITUDE of the blessing she bestowed upon you. I know you will do your very best to catch the essence of her….. I can’t wait!
